About GATED.

The apartment is a character.

GATED. is an original observational comic about modern Indian apartment life—the warmth, the rules, the neighbours, the resident groups and the elaborate systems built around very small everyday problems.

Created independently

GATED. is created and independently published by Gunesh. New comics are planned for Wednesday and Sunday, with every strip receiving a permanent page in English, Hindi and Marathi.

Editorial approach

The stories are fictional satire inspired by recognisable community incidents and public reporting. They do not identify or target a particular resident, employee or housing society. The joke is aimed at the system and the shared situation—not at a vulnerable person.

Artwork and writing follow the GATED. Editorial 2.1 B+ style. Sources are attributed on individual comic pages when a strip draws from published reporting.
